Training of Varna Museum Management and Expert Staff in Project No. BGCULTURE-1.001-0005-C01 “Developing the Varna Regional Museum of History as a Multifunctional Public Space for Science, Art, Culture and Communication”

On 26/01/2023 and 27/01/2023, Varna Museum management and expert staff participated in training as part of Project No. BGCULTURE-1.001-0005-C01 “Developing the Varna Regional Museum of History as a Multifunctional Public Space for Science, Art, Culture and Communication”, financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, Program RA14 “Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation”.

The training’s main purpose was to support the development of the managerial and expert capacity of Varna Museum staff and the effective and entrepreneurial management of cultural and historical heritage exhibited there.
The training took place over two days and mainly covered the topics of “Cultural Entrepreneurship” and “Management of Cultural and Historical Heritage and Innovations”. The aim was to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to develop the Varna Museum so as to meet the new socio-economic realities and challenges. The training was conducted by the Varna Tourist Chamber with the support of the University of Economics – Varna.
